Jim Hoffman is a bankruptcy specialist. Jim's bankruptcy practice has included numerous Chapter 7, 11 and 13 Trustee representations, bankruptcy legal malpractice defenses, national creditor representations (including Fortune 200 and 500 Companies) and general litigation in all aspects of bankruptcy law.

Jim is a member of the State Bar of Texas, San Antonio Bar Association, American Bankruptcy Institute, member and Past President of the San Antonio Bankruptcy Bar Association, and is Vice-Chairman of the Bankruptcy Subcommittee of the Western District Federal Courts Committee. A frequent speaker on bankruptcy issues, Jim was named the San Antonio Bankruptcy Lawyer of the Year in 1996 by the San Antonio Bankruptcy Bar Association and is listed in the Best Lawyers in America. Jim is listed as a super lawyer in Texas Monthly Magazine from 2006 - 2010. He has also been selected for inclusion as one of San Antonio’s Best Lawyers in Scene in San Antonio Monthly Magazine for 2007 in the areas of bankruptcy and workout law. Jim is an Eagle Scout, and he has volunteered extensively with the Boy Scouts of America, his church and in the community.
